I have had the HTC TYTN II for about 5 months now and all was well till I changed my wireless router from a BT Yoyager to a Belkin G Modem Router. The handset tries to connent to a full signal then gives up and the router signal on the handset then dissapears. All the correct security setting are in place on the handset but it fails to connect every time. I have a HTC S620 running WM6 and it connects to the Belkin with no problems at all and handles all the security settings. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know of a fix that can be applied? I have done a hard reset and it has made absolutely no difference at all. Help!

Have you tried to install the bluetooth fix? On the members page of HTC.

Yours Sincerely, Mohammad "Xmoo" M

Not sure the bluettooth fix will fix the WLAN issue but there you go

Belkins have been known to be a bit iffy with WM over the years. Best thing is to make sure you don't have things like forced 54g enabled or have higher security settings enabled - you need to check all of these. best aproach is probably take everything off (mac address filtering, WPA encryption etc) and incrementally add them un til it stops working.
