I don´t know how to make my Motorola HS820 work as a headset in my computer. I have a D-Link Bluethooth DBT-120. It reconize one another but it won´t give me the opportunity to make it work as a headset. Do I have to download an expecific software?

In theory all you should need to do is set your headset into pairing mode (this can be found in your instructions) then tell your PC to look for it. Once the PC finds it, the headset should appear in Bluetooth Devices as a "Headset". Connect up and you should in theory be able to use it as a headphone (mono, of course) and microphone. I use my Sony Ericsson HBH35 for exactly this purpose and it's fine. Can use it on Messenger or even to voice type in Microsoft Word.

Hope this helps!!

I've just been trying this myself with my HS820 and can't get it to work with the Blue Monkey USB Bluetooth adaptor I got from Expansys at the same time.

When I search the net I find loads of discussions about problems with Windows XP SP2 and using Bluetooth devices like this but I'm no nearer finding a solution... :(

I use blue soleil on computer and it works w/o any problem with hs820...
First time you have to pair it. When you power on HS820, do not release the button keep it pressed until the blue light stays on and then the computer asks for password...(that is 0000) and then it works. If you start the connection from computer, then HS820 starts beeping and you have to press the button once. Also after one succesful pairing you can activate the connection by simply pressing the button on hs. If you pair the device with something else then the pairing is lost and you have to start all over again.

Best regards and happy chatting :)
