Garmin Portable Mount Features
This new Portable Mount mount has a standard Dashboard Mounting Base securely
screwed in the centre of a flexible but firm bean-bag style section.
For use with eMap units the eMap Automotive Mount is required as well; with eTrex units the eTrex Automotive Mount is needed, and with the GPS 76 or GPSMap 76 the 76/GPSMap 76 Automotive Mount must be used to hold the GPS receiver. The Portable Mount is used as an alternative to the adhesive-mounted Dashboard Mounting Base which is supplied with each of these mounts and which is also included with the StreetPilot, StreetPilot ColorMap and StreetPilot III.
The 675 gram mount has four flexible sections that can be individually bent up or down into a variety of configurations so that your GPS can be best positioned on dashboard or elsewhere in your vehicle for optimum viewing and safety.
The upper surface of the mount is heavy-duty black nylon fabric, the underside is covered with non-skid material to minimise slippage.
