New owner
I feel in love with this phone even before it entered my hands. I hated touch screens and needed the usability that the HTC s743 provides. It is a remarkable phone and the newest most compatiable up to date phone on the market.

Looks good; works well for business
This is my first Windows mobile phone and thus far it works pretty well for me. I put it off for many years because many friends and coworkers complained about their touchscreen phones. Outside of the touchscreens, everyone seemed to love the blackjack, but unfortunately I still didn't like the form factor. Physically the S743 has the style and function of an old Nokia while giving you a keyboard and well equipped OS. If you are a user who appreciates having a real phone first and messaging device second, I highly reccommend it. Call quality and reception (at least in the Seattle area w/ ATT) are very good. Battery life is satisfactory as well. The stripped down OS gives you a simplified UI that (thus far) hasn't angered me yet. I've been able to quickly check traffic in the car and perform basic functions when out of office. I think my only complaints are the thickness and a few quirks of using a corporate smart phone (i.e. group policy settings pushed down w/ email). Also, while text messaging, I can read messages from the home screen, but not dismiss them (minor frustration I'm working on fixing). It's far from perfect, but I'll give the S743 four stars because it's a good solid choice for a WM phone.
