What is an "Unlocked" phone?
Many cell phones are designed to use a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card to store subscriber data. These SIM cards are issued by the carrier and provide cell service to the phone. "Locked" cell phones will only recognize SIM cards from the carrier that originally provided the phone. Almost every cell phone provided by a US carrier is locked to that carrier’s network.
"Unlocked" cell phones will recognize SIM cards from any carrier using Global System Mobile Communications (GSM) technology. Customers with "unlocked" cell phones are able to use any GSM carrier of their choosing, including "pre-pay" or "no contract" SIM card options. "Unlocked" cell phones also accept international SIM cards that provide discounted rates while traveling abroad.

sweets ass phone!
This phone is possibly the best phone i have ever bought. have dropped it more than a dozen times -no scratches no cracks. definitely the phone you want if you want it to last. Only down side is no camera.

Tough Stuff
The Sitemaster is no iPhone but I purchased it for worke and it does exactly what is say on the tin. I can throw it in with my tools, drop it on site and even let the kids play with it and I don't have to worry. It just keeps on working. Great phone!

jcb sitemaster
ok phone but no instructions.ring tone is annoying. and no choice of any others. tryed to blue tooth another ring tone but it wont accept it. not waterproof.mine let water in.but never botherd it. have dropped it and is as tuf as they say.got a good torch which is handy but no camera on a phone this price is a bit mean.allso a bit bulky and heavy but it is a good work phone
