Brand new, no-one elses data on it. US plug on psu though (?).
Pros:
Acts as a gps device via bluetooth or usb (requires drivers to be installed)
LED's can be on or off
Speaker gives time of day (from sat. data) and other status info
Can log waypoints or break data into trips through buttons. results in different data in file when downloaded
standard usb to charge and interface
external antenna connection
vibration sensor fo on/off.
Phototrackr software (v2.0) is actually very good !
standard nokia type battery
Cons.
neckstrap attachment on unit is linked to battery cover, if the cover comes off, the neckstrap disconnects completely
Requires drivers to work as com port , doesn't emulate a usb disk
Requires phototrackr software to change settings on device, though this is typically only done once.
Requires phototrackr to download the logs off the device
Access via bluetooth is for gps function only, not for logs or setup.... More
It worked great briefly (for one project) - then, the software interface stopped appearing in Windows. Windows thinks it is running, but you see nothing on screen. Re-installed the program and updated it several times, to no effect. Have written Gisteq for help, but no response so far. Does Gisteq have a web site? It works great IF you can get satellite reception, which is often not the case. Also, it takes a while to lock satellites (up to 10 minutes or more). ... More
