Samsung Galaxy Note II Android Smartphone 32GB Gray Features

The GALAXY Note II features a 5.5” (140.9mm) HD Super AMOLED screen, providing breathtaking visuals and crystal clear detail. Its 16:9 screen ratio ensures an immersive and enriched cinema-like video viewing experience, perfect for watching HD videos on-the-go. Its larger screen allows users to see content clearly and vividly, with much enhanced readability. In addition to the stunning content consumption experiences on a larger screen, users will also be able to accomplish more tasks efficiently and create content freely on-the-go, as the GALAXY Note II comes with a thinner and portable body.

Air View allows users to hover with the S Pen over an email, S Planner, image gallery, or video to preview the content without having to open it. This feature enables users to quickly search and see more information in one view without screen transitions.

Thanks to the breadth of the GALAXY Note II’s amazing viewing experience, a feature called Popup Note extends the concept of Popup Play, which lets users open an S Note instantly as a pop-up window anywhere on the screen. For example, when a user pulls out the S Pen during a phone call, the S Note application automatically pops up on the screen, allowing users to jot down a quick note.

In addition, the device’s new gesture pad feature, called Quick Command, lets users quickly activate frequently used apps with the S Pen. The command pad appears when a user just swipes upward on the screen with the S Pen button pressed. Users can quickly send an email, make a call, or search a location as they draw pre-registered marks on the command pad or register a unique mark to allow for quick and easy access.

A phone worthy of a Super-hero

Greetings fans, it is I, the mighty superhero, Captain Galaxor! As a superhero I have great difficulty choosing the right phone. It must fit in with my secret identity as a hyper-awesome business CEO/playboy by day, yet not look out of place with my costume when I take on the scum trying to ruin my great city at night.   I need a phone that allows the mayor to contact me at a moment’s notice. A phone that lets me download from the superhero network at a mind-numbing 26mbps. A phone that can have up to 80gb of memory for storing criminal mug shots, the full soundtrack to any films made about my life, my latest audiobook, and an app that allows me to remotely control the Galax-mobile. The Samsung Galaxy Note II gives me all of this and so much more.   The Note II’s quad-core 1.6mhz processor and 2gb of RAM allows me to stay ahead of all of the super-villains I clash with almost daily (you’re welcome by the way). HTC-man, Nokiarmour, even Sgt Apple-core, all pale in comparison when faceing my latest gadget’s might.   It also houses my secret weapon. The “S-Pen”. With the S-Pen I can take down notes on cases, scroll through websites without smudging my screen, sign business PDF’s with my signature, draw new designs for my latest costume, even poke annoying people with the pointy end. The S-Pen truly is mightier than the…err… S-Sword! (Legal-note: If any super-villains do try to defeat me with an “S-Sword” I reserve the right to use other weapons that may or may not be at my disposal).   The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the ultimate smart-phone. A palm(tree)-sized powerhouse that leaves all other phones in its wake. The phones of my staff, super-model girlfriends, even my trusty butler Cornelius, all now appear laughably small and fiddly. To any who feel this stunning phone deserves a title and class of its own, I salute you. To any who think that this class should be called “Phablet”, I would like you to know that I don’t know who you are, I don’t k now what you want. What I do have is a very particular set of skills. I will look for you, I will find you…   I understand that some, maybe even many of you, reading this review may not be super-heroes. You may think that means that you should not use phones worthy of super-heroes, but you are wrong. The Samsung Galaxy Note II is the only phone I would now trust to call a super-villains mummy when he threatens my city, and it will be the only phone you will want to use too.   Signing off,   Captain Galaxor the Mighty and very Cool.   Expansior!

Simple, Elegant, Powerful

This is the first "phone" which I can confidently say, has replaced my laptop. I switched from iOS and have never looked back. This phablet (phone-tablet) has everything and more. All my emails, contacts and calendars are already stored within the Google ecosystem, making the Android software the obvious choice for a mobile operating system. Plus the fact that I can create and edit docs, spreadsheets and presentations on the go using Google drive and have them all synced for access through a web browser makes this phone, with its large screen and variety of input options (pen, on-screen keyboard and voice) the only choice for business user who want a professional business tool and a powerful media system in an elegant and beautiful body. The hardware and software have many complementing features. Google's Now service works well with the GPS to provide up to the minute information about where you are in the world, including local restaurants and tourist attractions, while feeding you information about your favourite sports teams' scores and upcoming calendar events, all in an easy to use and elegant "cards" interface. When Steve Jobs outlawed the stylus, I bet he wished he had imagined what Samsung would create with the S-Pen. Finger-touch is all well an good, but sometimes you need to "jot a note", like when getting information while in a telephone conversation, leaving you scrambling for a pen and paper, just pull the S-Pen and a Note window appears on screen on-top of your call - no more scrambling and bits of paper which are easy to lose, the note 2 saves them all for whenever you need them. Simple, Elegant, Powerful.
