Serial IO Scanfob® 2002 Wireless Laser Barcode Scanner Features

The OPN2002, part of the OPN2000 series is a Bluetooth memory scanner, combining convenient barcode data collection with flexible communication options. The device enables storage and removal of barcode scans. The collected barcodes can be transmitted by cabled or wireless interface.

The Scanfob® 2002 (aka OPN-2002) laser barcode scanner is a key fob sized wireless scanner. The Scanfob® Connects via Bluetooth Spp, Bluetooth HID, and via USB cable. With Bluetooth HID mode the scanner works like a keyboard typing scanned data at the cursor location. No software installation required when using keyboard mode. Bluetooth is required on the host computer: iPad, iPod Touch (iOS4), iPhone (iOS4), OS X, Windows, etc.

Works with Apple iPad, No software installation required (works like a keyboard). Scanfob® barcode enables existing programs without software changes to those programs.

Scanfob® can also work in Bluetooth Spp (Serial port profile) mode.

SerialMagic Professional Software enables many enhanced solutions which are not possible with HID mode.
