What is an "Unlocked" phone?
Many cell phones are designed to use a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card to store subscriber data. These SIM cards are issued by the carrier and provide cell service to the phone. "Locked" cell phones will only recognize SIM cards from the carrier that originally provided the phone. Almost every cell phone provided by a US carrier is locked to that carrier’s network.
"Unlocked" cell phones will recognize SIM cards from any carrier using Global System Mobile Communications (GSM) technology. Customers with "unlocked" cell phones are able to use any GSM carrier of their choosing, including "pre-pay" or "no contract" SIM card options. "Unlocked" cell phones also accept international SIM cards that provide discounted rates while traveling abroad.

Very Stylish an fast!
I got this phone from Expansys a week ago. I am very pleased with their service! The phone itself is amazing, very fast and responsive, thanks to its dual core processor and 1 GB RAM. Pros: -Very Bright and sharp screen with vivid colors -Amazing Camera functionality and image quality -Very unique and stylish design -Very good weight on it, build quality doesn't feel like cheap plastic like XPERIA Arc and SG SII -UI is very clean and simple to use with Sony's style. Cons: -USB flap cover is hard to open/close but eventually got used to it -ICS software update wont be available until Q2 this year -Bottom piece is questionable in terms or rigidity Overall phone is worth the upgrade!!

In LOVE!
This thing is awesome. The screen is stunning and the camera is exceptional. I came from using a GSII and was worried I wouldn't like the screen. No more worries!
